lyrics

I never knew how it feels to drown,
it seems like everything has fallen apart,
when the walls were struck,
you impatiently turned away.

It was like every Sunday in April,
the warm air was filled with boredom,
my thoughts lingered in the slow afternoon,
her eyes weakened when the pictures became too clear,
I remember orange skies and deep blue eyes,
bruised thighs and seductive smiles,
it wasn't like any Sunday before...

And I try and I fight but it tears me apart,
just to forget was never enough,
it was a shelter during the storm,
now it's a shipwreck in the ocean picking up waves,
and even now the silence erodes,
it intensifies the flames that has made,
these foundations, just mourning ashes.

The sound of the unwanted news,
letters run as my eyes turn black,
the blue and yellow, the blue and yellow,
my legs aren't carrying me no more.

There is something strange in the time of distress,
you find yourself reminiscing over past,
the moments shared and moments gone to waste,
you remember every inch of her skin,
how everything just slides down to her feet,
was it just pillow talk,
or did the paths just went their separate ways.

There is something strange in passing time,
it slows down the faster you go,
the wheels turned, the body tried,
her minds made up, the damage has been done,
as the wheels slowed down the words come out,
soon nothing will ever be alright,
the walls were struck,
she just turned away.
